City: Zeist
Length of route: The route is 17.5 kilometers long.
Environment: The route is located in the woods east of Zeist and is thus located on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The Utrechtse Heuvelrug is a particularly attractive area with Dutch hills, steep hills, deep valleys and splendid views. The elongated hillside stretches from Het Gooi in the northwest to the Grebbeberg under Rhenen in the southeast.
Nature of the route: It is a technical route with many bends and short venetian cliffs.
The route is for the most part about newly created singletracks. At the top there is connection and for a small part overlap with the existing Zeist-Austerlitz route.
The singletracks are technically challenging and quite heavy. It goes continuously back and forth and up and down, swinging between trees and over hills.
Marking: The route is marked with wooden poles with red on the international MTB sign (triangle with 2 rounds).
