City: Stadskanaal Length of route: The route is 12 kilometers long Marking: The route is marked with wooden posts with the orange international MTB sign (triangle with 2 rounds). Environment: The route is part of the Westerwolde mountain bike network which is located in the east of Groningen. The route network has a length of more than 200 kilometers. The network consists of 5 individual MTB routes (Bellingwolde, Sellingen, Stadskanaal, Ter Apel and Vlagtwedde) which are interconnected. Nature of the route: The first half of the 12 kilometer long trail lies in the wooded and parky area of the Pagedal and produces both light and heavier pieces with a lot of curvature. Many paths are singletracks and runs along the water. The second part passes over the Tuibrug (The Red Runner) to Vledderbos. There are large and small puddles.
