Easy tour with a long ascent to Poppenberg (view of the Harzvorland).
The mountain valley route leads along the southern Harzrand around Silberkopf to Talbrauerei and Rabensteiner Stollen (Schaubergwerk). Passing steep trails, it heads up from Brandesbachtal up to the Poppenberg with the best view of the Harzvorland and then back to Ilfeld.
