Harvelte (East)

City: Havelte (East) Length of route: The route is 19 kilometers long and can be extended with an additional loop of 8 km. Nature of the route: The Green MTB route starts with a bicycle path, but after a few hundred meters you arrive on a grass road. A grass street that goes on in a mix of narrow sometimes winding singletracks asking for steering skills and wider straight paths where the "stompers" will feel more at home. Marking: The route is marked with wooden poles with green international MTB sign (triangle with 2 rounds). Environment: The route is in the vicinity of Havelte and carries out areas of, among others, Defense, Natural Monuments and Forestry. Havelte, also called "The Pearl of Drenthe", is surrounded by extensive forests, heathlands, sand sprays and pasture areas.
