Place: Gemond Length of route: The route is 35 kilometers long Nature of the route: The route (Mon Plaisir route) includes many wide sandpaths between agricultural and forest areas. The routes are especially developed for the recreational mountain biker. In summer, lots of loose sand must be taken into account. In winter, these pieces can become very muddy. Your driving skills and fitness are therefore tested both in summer and in winter. Marking: The route is marked with plastic posts with red on the international MTB sign (triangle with 2 rounds). Connection, shortening, driving or return routes are indicated by a black mtb sign on a white background. Environment: The route is located in the western part of the National Landscape of the Green Forest. This is an area with an area of approximately 35,000 hectares in the Eindhoven triangle, Oisterwijk and 's-Hertogenbosch. The area has a core of 7,500 hectares of nature consisting of forests, marshes, heaths and agricultural poplar countryside.
